Engineering

Our general engineering capability is mainly revolved around refurbishment and/or repair activities and the resolution of obsolescence problems. Involving CAD facilities, re-engineering and small batch manufacture of metalwork, machined parts, circuit cards, cables and miscellaneous parts and assemblies.

As part of UKC Group, our inhouse team of Electronics, Avionics and Precision Engineers undertake varied projects including small batch manufacture of metalwork, machined components, PCB/CCA/circuit cards, cable assemblies, Colvern Potentiometers, Rotary Wafer Switches and miscellaneous component sand assemblies. Where necessary this includes refurbishment, plating, painting and powder coating, overhaul/repair/test to meet customer requirements.

The prime objective of our manufacturing/refurbishment capability is to support the obsolescence activities and ensure that refurbishment and repair activities are professionally finished.

We have Solid Works CAD facilities for drawing preparation to ensure that we have complete records.

A comprehensive range of services

Our engineering activities include:

Reverse Engineering

When critical components become unavailable globally, our engineers leverage decades of expertise in reverse engineering and manufacturing to address complex, commercially viable obsolescence challenges. Our facilities can overhaul and retest available components or, when needed, reverse-engineer and produce new equivalents. We also supply comprehensive technical documentation and any necessary certifications.
